The Asia Top Gallery Hotel Art Fair Tokyo 2008 was Asia's first large art expo ever held in top hotel. Following a successful exhibition in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong early this year, Asia Top Hotel Gallery Art Fair is to take place in Seoul in August.

Hotel-setting Art Fair is the new model of Art Fair that emerged in recent years, taking the top consumers in the energy pyramid usually gathering in the top hotels as targeted audience. The art banquet in Shilla Hotel in Seoul will display 2000 pieces of fine art work presented by 70 top galleries from Japan, Taiwan, China and Korea.

Winning 42 international art honors in a year, Professor Lee Sun-Don is the first Asian artist who was ever invited to have a solo oil paintings exhibition in an individual venue in Venice Biennale. In this Art Fair, Professor Lee is to exhibit his work of photography - "My Inspiration RNA", "Deva Angel", "Art's Art" and "This is Love".

Composed of three elements - nail, stone and flower, "This is Love" is Professor Lee's latest work of photography. In this series, the nail represents the male, the rose represents the female, and the stone represents obstacles. Different compositions of the same elements laid out various romantic mood of the artist.

"Deva Angel" is inspired by the Deva Mural in the Cave of Dun Huang. The treasures that the flying deities hold in hands are various auspicious symbols. For example, the treasure vase represents wealth and fortune, the musical instruments blessings, and door the rings the familial providence. "Art's Art" series combines the totemic energy oil painting with photography. In this series, a finished artwork (such as The Sands of the Ganges River/Purity Vase) is transformed into a photographic work through camera, not only to present the beauty of light and shade of the image, but also to display the beauty of the artwork itself. What "Art's Art" demonstrates is an innovative concept - "Dual Creation of Art".
